I have four chickens that need a new home. I've raised all but one from hatch. These are for pick-up only.

The first three are all from the same hen and roo. They are Jersey Giant/Silkie/Naked Neck/Black Star mix, but you'd never know it looking at them. The cockerel was hatched in the fall of last year, and is nearly as big as a Jersey, and is a beautifully barred. The two pullets were hatched early this year, and one is just now starting to lay. They both have the Silkie crest, and one is very friendly. They're kind of unusual looking, but very cute. All three are docile, but are kind of shy of handling.

The third is a little BB Red bantam cockerel that was given to me as a half-grown chick, thinking it was a pullet. ( Well, guess what? My other poor roo didn't get the woman of his dreams!) He's kind of the watchdog of my pens, being very alert to "danger", and is very protective of his group. He's tried to flog me, but he's never hurt me. I just gently punt him to the side. :-) Once caught, he doesn't put up a fight. I have no real use for him and would like to give him a home where he'll have some company his size. He's always been in the pen with standards.
