I have noticed that my buckeyes started blooming, and that is a known early season favorite (and the lilacs) so it won't be long before we have some hopefully nesting in our yard. (I am keeping a positive attitude and my fingers crossed!)

This is a pic of my 'lure' but so far it hasn't worked. I need to purchase a blooming red flower (campsis?) vine for it. My wintersown baby vines aren't making much of an impression. I am about ready to put out the red tablecloth on the lawn to try to attract some early HB flyovers since my little lobelias don't seem attractive enough!

Anybody have hummingbirds building a nest at your place? Any pics?
