Chuckling at "pass the 2x4". I do that to Skip a lot. Oopsie

Ouch WS - I know what you mean with the denture thing. I don't have them, but I broke my front tooth when I crashed my bicycle, and couldn't get into the dentist for four days. Figures that I had a customer presentation scheduled on day two. I picked up some of the waxy stuff at walgreens, and "molded" it to fill. Not attractive, but it was better than looking like a yokel. Funny dental story. Skip (DH) wears a partial that he takes out at night and sets on the bedside table. He woke up one morning last year, and the teeth were gone. We have two older kids, and he was convinced that they were messing with him. He was furiuos. I didn't think the kids would do something like that, and told him that either he misplaced it or the mice carried it away ( we live on the outskirts of town, and we get a lot of critters). Sure enough, two days later, I doing laundry and dropped a sock behind the dryer. When I pulled the dryer out, there was a mouse nest, with Skip's teeth and a few other goodies. What's really odd is that to get those teeth to the nest, the little mouse would have had to carry them across the carpeted bedroom, down a long carpeted hall, downstairs, and all the way across a carpeted basement! Remember the story "The Borrowers"? Anyway, I told Skip that the moral of is brush your teeth better, and the mice won't want to carry your leftovers home. He didn't think it was funny (I still think it's hilarious).

Darius - 32 acres with two bungalows, a pond, and a stream? That sounds great!!

ViolaAnn - Love the plates and the cute little red car.

Sarv - lol! I always worry that if the cops show up of some reason and see all my seedlings under grow lights they'll think I'm growing something other than flowers. You need to wear leather gloves when you're messing with those bricks!

Last night we went to my daughter's high school play, Sweet Charity. Alisha's a senior this year, and has been involved in drama since Jr High. She doesn't like to act, but is more into the technical part of things, and for her last production of High School she was Stage Manager. She did an awesome job, and we're very proud of her. Her boyfriend Andrew is already out of school, and a great kid. They've been going out for a couple of years now, and last night at the play we finally met his parents. Alisha's going to have to marry this kid, because I now know his mom's a gardener! Actually, he's a great guy anyway, smart, respectful, handsome, very responsible, and he helps me out a lot digging, painting, etc. After the play we took the kids out to dinner to celebrate, so I didn't get to bed until nearly midnight. I'm usually tucked in by 9:30.

As much as we could use rain, I'm hoping it stays nice long enough today to get some work done outside. I have a kid coming to build the potting bench in my shed, I need to finish up mulching the bed along the front walk way that I will be replanting when my bluestone order arrives, and I have the never ending task of pulling garlic mustard in the wooded walk. If things go well, I also want to go to an auction that's supposed to have alot of goodies. I need a chair for the shed, and old garden/farm tools to decorate the front of it. Hopefully they'll go cheap, and I can pick up some good stuff. Andrew painted the shed for me, but I will do the trim when I decide on a color. Windows and the door are in, and I've started moving all my stuff. The last requirement is the bench that should be built today! Pic of the shed in progress - this used to be Skip's storage shed, but my garden stuff was taking over his "fishing room" off the side of the house garage. "He decided" (I cajoled) to convert the pool stuff storage shed into a garden shed.
