Dorthea and her husband are so nice and they give hug's too : ) Her variegated double pink is lovely in and out of bloom I've seen the mother plant in both stages and it sure is big and pretty : ) Gommers GH is giant! He and his family are just picture perfect and so friendly, Gommer is into something new with each visit one year it was hibiscus and being from Florida I'm not a stranger to them and WOW did he make some nice one's, He's back into daylilly's again. I've also have met with a very nice doctor of botany and his wife they where great too! But I think I enjoyed most meeting with other simple growers like myself you would not believe how friendly German gardeners are and at one growers house (almost at the Polish border)! I got to hear my first cuckoo bird call! lol guess what it sounds just like the clock! I took lot's o PIC's but will not bore Y'all with them, This one is in the center of the Langenbergs large garden She had many colored double seedlings coming into bloom at the time but it was the German version of pound cake I was interested in! Opp's wrong PIC .. Ludger had an import permit and THIS is the size of cuttings a seedling parent should send to a hybridzer if they bother to get an import permit in the 1st place I had my proxy copy of the permit in my front pocket when I brought these to him unfortunately I was unable to bring some of his other hybrids due to the size and condition on arrival to my home.
