It's been a long day. Sammi is fine, but the first thing he did was head for the litter pan, and I swear he must have had a half a cup of wee in him because he just kept going. Then he had to have a snack. Then it was time to jump on Mini, she didn't even complain too much. Now they are curled up in the kitty cave (We built in a spot to put firewood, but the cats took it over, so it's all theirs now) for about two hours. If he licks at his operation he might have to get a collar put on so I hope he leaves it alone.

When I got home I had a message from my friend who got her kitty from the same rescue place. First of all, they claim their cats have all been checked over by a vet and are healthy. Well, if a vet checked her cat, he must have gotten his license on Ebay. Poor thing has: 1) Ear mites 2) a virus of some kind, coughing and sneezing, 3) RINGWORM (which my friend now has also) so I can't tell you how happy I am that I decided not to take the sick female. She has over $300 in vet bills already for this poor thing, and it's not over yet. Oh, and he has a bad tooth that needs to be pulled. They should close that organization down. They have cats listed on petfinder, too. All the kittens in the Sunday ads were sold immediately!

Yes, Ann we are three meezers now, but there's not much point in changing email etc. as the number is subject to change! My dentist visit went fine, first half hour was catching up on family life, Nancy's mother passed away about a week ago. She had Alzheimer's for ten years, so they truly lost her a long time ago.

I've sort of lost my taste for awful offal over the years. My dad used to buy beef hearts, which have a texture like giblets. We called them Bee ...well, you know.

GG It takes about two weeks to adjust your internal clock to a different rhythm. When I was working in a hospital, we switched shifts every two weeks, but you can handle that when you are young

Kooger, that's great news about Kandyce. So glad it went well and she will be able to monitor it.

Darius, you won't be lonesome tomorrow...when your friends visit. Must be pretty quiet though. We used to make popcorn in a heavy pan with oil in the bottom to prevent burning, and then drizzle melted butter over it once it was in the bowl. I would guess about a quarter cup of butter to a quart of already popped corn. Butter would burn if you used it in the popping pan. Some of the microwave popcorn is ok, but home popped is the best. I like lots of butter! And salt. Neither of which are appropriate for my medical condition! I sort of like Kooger's method too!

Sarv, you've got me thinking about getting a laptop.....would be nice to watch tv and play at the same time.

~~~ to all, peace to those who are worried about family members, and good wishes for all our DG friends.
Here's my exhausted little man....
