MaryE wrote: Good morning. OOO Darius, that picture of the strawberry shortcake about did me in! Molly, nice scallions! Do you have Peter Rabbit living near by? He might have the wrong address, Mc? for McGreggor. I hope he will leave enough for you to have salads. You might have to make a chicken wire cage to grow lettuce that you don't have to share. Elaine, have fun on your trip today. Robert, it's nice to see you again. Are you taking pictures of your projects? Oz, I have been watching Storm Stories on the weather channel, this was Tornado Week. Awesome to look at and so dangerous. I'm glad your friend survived. I know there are some really backwoodsy people everywhere, so I sure wasn't implying that all the folks in any given location were that way. I hope nobody took offence. Does anybody remember the Foxfire books? We have 2 or 3 of them, there were a lot more printed and we never got them. In the first one there was the story of an old lady who lived alone without electricity, plumbing, etc, just like she had lived for all of her 80+ years. One of the students (Foxfire was a school project designed to educate the kids but also to preserve the history of the region) interviewed her and another took pictures. They also did chapters on soap making, hog butchering, log cabin building, planting by the signs, and other everyday occurances in the Appalachian Mountains. Kelly, it seems to me that if the office girl has also "had it" with that company, that they need to get a different manager before they loose all the good employees they have. Maybe after she made that phone call, somebody is getting the picture. Time for me to get moving here. Oh, and speaking of moving, here is a picture of AmandaPanda in fast forward. Just an instant later she attacked and killed the wad of paper on the floor. |
