Now, new topic question--if you don't mind-- speaking of cold and weather--

What if I have some bulbs that sprouted and then a cold snap turned them into brown mush? I think they are one of three kinds of bulbs-- a kind of giant allium, or white camassia, or my ornithalgalum magnum? (Lost the labels)

Will they recover? Should I be covering the survivors to try to save them from other cold snaps (sure to come?).
