Well, more bad news.
My sister e-mailed me her version which I do appreciate since my dad gives me the very short one as most men do.
She says that the cancer has spread to throughout the bones and a few lymph nodes around the lungs. She asked the doc. how much time he has and of course he didn't want to say but said up to 6 months possibly.
The docs will decide on what kind of treatment he can handle this week and next week.
So......
So my son and I are flying up to see them during his spring break at the end of the month.
My son walked around the house tonight looking at all the things my dad has made. Like the wood work and stain glass work. Then he walked over the bookcase he had made me many years ago and picked up my parents pictures and just looked at them.
Was so sad to see but on the other hand, so sweet.
He and my dad were close since they both like work with their hands.
