And... the man who owned this place before me died about a year before his wife sold it so a lot of things were neglected for a while. I did think the Iris were planted pretty deep but had no reference for this area. Aha! But, I just got this photo from a friend near where I lived in Nevada County and I really, really don't miss the old place much. 'Boca Resevoir' LOL
