Hi Brad,

Your Biblical Garden sounds lovely. Figs are wonderful. Someday, I will have a fig tree when I have more room. I grew a couple of pomegranate bushes from seed just for fun one year. The red flowers were very bright and cheery, and the hummingbirds loved them, but the fruit wasn't that sweet, and because of my lack of room, they went off to a new home.

I am very late in sowing seeds for my vegetable garden this year and just did it the day before yesterday. I sowed seeds of tomato, cilantro, onion, green onion, chives, and peppers. You are so right that there is nothing like home-grown fruit and vegetables. We've been enjoying avocados, tangerines, and oranges for a few weeks now as well.

I hope you are well too, my friend. It sounds like you are doing just great and will be swinging that golf club shortly when warm weather comes. I'm glad to hear that TW is full of tiny inflo's. I will have to re-examine mine. I agree with you that plumerias are quite beautiful even without their leaves.

Chantell, I have heard of "Sweet Autumn Clematis." It is said to have a wonderful fragrance, but I don't grow it. Here's a link: http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/683/index.html Be sure to read the comments because there are some positive and negative ones.
