I've taken a couple of crowns off it, and it responded by getting lots of little suckers... but right now it just looks weird, with that huge clump of little crowns in the center and a few older, greener leaves sticking out around the edges. I'm hoping those little crowns will start trailing soon, and then the plant should look gorgeous! In the meantime, I think it's best to leave those older leaves on even though they look so odd, just because there's not much green now in the rest of the plant.
