I agree with Susie, Misty. I have many cats, and they co-exist peacefully with my brugs. They like to chew on the new growth of anything grasslike, however, like my palms.
I have one, Kit Kat, who does like to rub her face on brug stems, and she likes to smell the foliage too. Sometimes she even sleeps in the pots.
Try one and see how your Mistydawn reacts.
I know there are a few other kitty parents here, Kin and Sherry pop up in my mind, and they do very well with brugs + cats.
