I saw the adventitious roots so I took some cuttings right away and potted them up in the green house, they seemed to love the humidity. Went away for a few days on vacation and it didn't get watered (should have hung it in the ghse which has an automatic watering system.!!) So these are the survivors. When I transplanted, there was one stem with just a bit of a live section at the end, the rest had dried up so I trimmed it an thought 'what the heck' and burried it up to the leaves - which wasn't deep since it's only 1/2 inch anyway - into the 'magic' perlite tray I use and after about 3 weeks it decided to sprout these roots. So I just whisper sweet things to it each day and it decided to grow for me!! Here's the baby, when it gets a few more roots and the ones it has get a bit bigger, I'll pot it up. |
