What I found, and I did not have many, was that my pods never showed they were ripe. I let some go for 12 months!!! And when I opened them they were germinating inside. So I would go by the calender, and at 9 months cut a little hole in the side and see if the seeds are brown. But since I have such limited experience with sangs, let me ask Jeanne to take a look here and give you her advice. She is on vacation right now but will be back soon. See after 12 months, I finally peeked in. The outside never changed. The sang pod walls were so thick. |
