I have one other that I got at the same time this summer, which I have removed one pup and have several leaves down from when I overwatered it a few weeks ago. Have roots already, so if I loose the mom, I will hopefully have pups coming soon. But the very cool thing about this av is that it's my FIRST time to have one rebloom. It hasn't bloomed yet, but down under the newer leaves is a bunch of buds forming. They circle around the crown, down about two or three levels of leaves. (patting myself on the back!) It's in a self waterer and although the top of the soil generally is bone dry, my water meter shows that is is plenty moist at the bottom of the pot. It is very very happy. |
