I went to our ONLY florist in town the other day, they just moved into an old victorian house on main street, and used to be in this obscure little cubby hole of a shop in the old train station before that. Anyway, I asked if they ever got streps in and she said she was going to the SFO flower market this week and if they looked nice she'd pick up a few for me to look at.

Well, I treated myself! I know they are no names, but great for me to get started with! Any tips are much appreciated since these plus the half dozen babies from the bargain violet thing are all I've ever grown.
