We have started a tradition with our boys. Every year they each get an ornament as one of their presents. If it is not personalized, then we write their name on the back or the bottom so we can keep up with which ones belong to which child. The idea is that when they are adults, they can take all of their ornaments to put on their tree. It should allow them to start with a nicely decorated tree and also the memories of all the years of collecting.
