Dinner tonight was a special treat. Fred Meyer's (Kroger) has lutefisk on for $ 5.95 a pound so tonight we had lutefisk with white sauce (melted butter for the better half), boiled potatoes and peas. No rommegrot or lefsa though, only toast and jam for dessert. But what a delight that was. Only setback was Immy poo##%g on the carpet.

Went to Toys Are Us to pick up 2 bikes for the GD's Christmas gifts.What a crazy place. Not that it is a crazy place, just the mobs that shop there. The checker said the day after TG they open at 5:00 and it is unbelievable. I haven't done any Christmas shopping for years, and I sure 'aint starting now!! The best part of the trip was stopping at Trader Joe's for some wonderful cheeses and Belgian chocolate. Love that store.

M5, your DH sounds a lot like me. Hate going places, don't like visiting but it's OK for them to come here, on occasion, and I'd also make a decent hermit. Don't go to movies though, too many people, strange people.
