I'm doing individual bubblers this year, all cuttings from one brug will have their own, private, 'hot tub' aka for individual bubblers. I also do not use the bubblers stones twice - at the end of this bubbler season, if you leave your stones bubblering all that time, you will notice, if you don't use H202 that the stone is 'dirty' appearing (not all do that, but most heavy used ones do) and if you do use H202, your bubbler stones might crumble, I always keep a supply of the little bubbler stones. Barb, here is one of my setups for some cuttings, from seedlings that have not bloomed yet, sent to me by Mary Heik - they were damaged in Katrina and Mary lost her GH, and sent them to Arky for the winter. Notice each with the same color band, is in the container with only that color. Susanne is the daddy for all three, who are: L'Amour, Creamsickle & Tiara. The all began rooting the day they went into the bubbler, much more quickly than I wanted, they were all rooting within a few days and I removed them last Sunday into individual pots and they are adjusting nicely, but the weather is tricky, cold, then HOT!!! BTW, the 'open' light is RED and we are hoping they all notice that RED is our fave color... |
