A new variant for me that just started blooming a couple of days ago.
Had 8 blooms the first day it bloomed.
It is from 2005 Seeds of 'another new variant' from this year,
however, it did NOT grow back 'True', but I am not disappointed.
The seeds are from a JMG that I named after my mom 'Nettie Mae'.
I'll post the 'Original Nettie Mae' also for comparison.
Only planted 2 seeds so am curious to see what the other vine does, and what these seeds produce next year.
Also, very curious to see what the other seeds from the 'Original Nettie Mae' will do next year.

I am fascinated with these blooms. Unlike no other MG that I have grown.
The petals seem to be thicker to the touch than other MGs that I have noticed---
almost 'Velvet-Like' for lack of a better description.
The Softest Solid Pale Pink with a White Throat.
Leaves are Variegated.
The Star on these blooms seem to be almost White -
I will need to pay attention to what the other blooms do to see if I was seeing things.

Ron, what is your opinion of this bloom?????
