The ones underneath touching the ground should be ok even if those on the top got a little damage. My experience has been if they suffer from freezing they will show pretty soon.When I dig my bulbs which I havent done for two years I like to leave them in the ground untill they are thourgly dead but before we have a hard freeze. Then I dig only what I can cut up and store in one day so they don.t lay around to long. Good luck. Ernie
