I'll have to try your combo. I do have daffs that bloom at different times in my yard. Daffs also tend to bloom 2 weeks later the first time I put them in.

Bulbs went on sale in my area today. I will be gardening by portable electric light the next few weeks. LOL

I'm doing sunken pots of tulips so I can have them for displays and
force them to bloom early. I've pulled them when I see the green leaves coming up. Then I put them in a sunny window and they bloom indoors for me around the middle of March.
