CARAT wrote: Okay age check here. You all exhaust me. I am 41 and after reading just this mornings posts I am ready for a nap. Trying to keep up with all the names seems impossible. Julie, the pods are from a Texas Mountain Laurel tree. Actually when I was talking to another friend about how I should send them she told me that the seeds should be planted while they are still young and soft and the pod has the fuzzy stuff on it still. But of the three I have planted all the seeds were old and I have trees. HHMMM......now I have more questions. And all I was trying to do was make another poster happy. Now while reading your story of the fall, which by the way I hope your ankle and rump are okay, I was silently praying that you didn't break the camera either. Hint for you............ Always use the handle strap on the camera when taking pictures out a window while driving. I lean a little to far out to get a better shot and the wind grabbed the camera and threw it on to the side of the road. The camera didn't make it. Although the memory card with that final picture was unharmed. Picture below. Okay, warning now. For all you with those bulbs that I can't have right now, just start now with your lists of what you have and exactly where they are. It will make it so much easier on you when you have to dig out a couple to send me when I get into the new place. It is far to much work for what you get when planting bulbs here. You have to dig them up, clean them, and winter them over in the freezer and even so after the second bloom they are in sad shape. I have tried everything including buying new bulbs each year. That was just to expensive so I have to wait. Hey, who took all the maple syrup for the pancakes. Guess I will have to use blackberry. Such the compromise. I am glad for those of you that are floating in rain water that you have a break. I sat outside on the patio with my fan for over an hour last night blowing the warm air to the east for you. Have you even gotten the feeling that while giving the sermon at church the person is talking directly to you? This morning I would have sworn Father Stephen had to been watching through my windows at my life and decided on what the subject would be. Very errie. |
