For those of you interested in dogs here is my take on the GRCA National http://www.okusgoldens.com/national2005.htm . We had a blast - met some super people and had some fun, which is the main thing! Its taken me hours to label all those pictures - just hope I didn't make too many mistakes.
I think the highlight of the trip was "meeting" a real live wild Bald Eagle. He came quite close, but unfortunately not when the camera was in my hand. We had Dolphins join us on the Cape May/Lewes Ferry crossing too. I was impressed by the Chesapeake Bay bridge/Tunnel - 17 miles is quite a bridge!! Photo below
The trip has done me good - I feel much 'lighter' now - though the scales tell a different story!!
As an ex service brat and then a regular and regulars wife I got about a bit too. One and a half times round the world by the time I was 6. Wish I had been older then more of it would have stuck.
