This house has a four foot wide band of shade all the way across the barn and house, plus around 5 trees. Under the apple tree does not get that shaded but some.

I think I will be hitting the box specials at Lowe's and Home Depot both fall and spring for variegated hosta and whatever else I can find. I love variegated plants! I think I am going to leave all or most of the varie vinca behind though. hehehe
