The HD's in our area, and there are dozens of 'em, get their bougainvillea from a grower/wholesaler in the next county that specializes in them. Every once in a while there is something different thrown in, probably to make a shipment complete. I go to the HD closest to me. It's five minutes away so I can go there often. This one happens to have the largest nursery in the county. In just a few minutes I am through the place and know exactly what's new.

I have a nice bunch of colors in my collection of bougainvillea. I live close enough to the Key's to visit there often. They have a great climate for growing bougainvillea. I get most of my unusual ones there. The one above is one of only two I have purchased. I usually get mine as cuttings from the Key's.
