Hey, Sue (Sarv), am glad that the box got there ok. You guys talk about that 2 x 4. I could use it at times with my now 18 year old son. Still being a pain in the a*ss. Can't wait until he graduates from hs in June. I agree with M5 about if you don't get to go and have fun with them all, you just do what you want then. Have fun your way.

Defoecat, thanks for your comments about my mom. All is going well. After you send the 2 x 4 to Sarv, I am next in line, lol. Sure, it is cheaper to go buy your own 2 x 4, but it won't be the "special DG" one, lol.

Molly, I like your "chuckle". I can see you doing that with your Bud Lite in your one hand and the other hand typing on the computer. lol

I spent the day at Farmers market (lots of fruit ripe now, plums, apples, pears, etc), picked some grapes at a u-pick place (they are so, so sweet), went to a couple garage sales (came up pretty good, got several large ceramic pots for plants for $1, and an end table for $2 (which needs a piece in the center replaced-would like to maybe get a stained glass piece to put in there), and of course, stopped at a local nursery and got some good deals on plants. Got for $1.50 each - 2 purple lobelia cardinals (sp?), hydrangea for $3, a raspberry bush for $2, and a couple ground covers for $1.50. Plus some fert. for my poor plum tree that has yellow in the middle of the leaves, might be mineral def.
Came home and dug up a rhodie that was getting root rot. Replanted it and hope it lives. It has beautiful pink blooms in the spring. Planted the raspberry bush, Autumn Bliss-everbearing kind. Put some stain on the end table. Then realized that it would either be good on the new deck my son had built a few weeks ago or in my house by the sofa with a lamp on it. So the stain might not work inside now. Oh well, it will be protected from water spills, lol.

Picture is my son admiring his work on the deck a few weeks ago. Typical kid!

Well, need to look at the dahila forum now and decide what tubers I want to get.
Later,
Carol (DR)
