I grow it with the AVs (but with a little less water). It forms a tuber at the soil line - I'm quite in love with it. I think first blooms might have taken close to a year from sowing. I sowed a batch of the same seeds a couple of months ago and got what I guess to be about 200% germination. If you've never tried a non-AV gesneriad, or tried anything from seed, I would recommend this one (if you like it, of course). I have enough for ELEVEN people.
