Hummingbird and Butterfly Gardening: Help! Caterpillars in my tomato plants, 1 by Gemila

I just discovered atleast 15 of these green caterpillars on the stems of my tomato plants. Most of them have the white eggs(?) on their backs. The closest ID I came to find was that they are either swallowtails or White-Lined Sphinx but in either case, what should I do. DH is talking about turning the garden into mulch soon. Would it hurt them to move them to another plant? Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
