Since we've moved back to town, I've slowly been building my collection back up, and even DH liked them because of the tropical foliage. Suddenly, 3 or 4 days ago the foliage in one of the canna beds looked as if it had been through Hurricane Katrina. I couldn't see any bugs, so couldn't figure out what it could be. I went out last night after dark with a flashlight and discovered they were covered in leaf rollers. I went out this morning and killed about 15 of them, but know this doesn't solve the problem. Anyone here have a simple solution for getting rid of them before they have completely destroyed the foliage? |
