It is a heavy bloomer and a huge grower once it gets established, but it takes about a year to get established. It does produce seeds when pollinated so I can save a few for you. Taylor, yes, that walkway is the side of the house which leads to a gate off of the driveway. The passifloras on the other side are fragrant so you do get fragrance when you walk through. I have Passiflora platyloba, P. sprucei, P. belotti, P. helleri, and a P. amethystina hybrid over on the other side. There is also Confederate Jasmine at the end. The bougainvillea is forming a natural arch, and the passifloras are meeting, and with a little shaping, I think I can make an nice looking arch out of the vines and Bougainvillea. Here's a picture that I took today. |
