Darius and I must be in the same zone horoscope wise, a couple of weeks ago I sliced my left index finger real deep and a half inch long, halving an avocado! Bled like a stuck pig, but it was a clean cut so I didn't run off to get stitched. I hate when I do stupid kitchen stuff like that, I know better.

Darius, I'm a Saturday's child too, but my birth didn't get recorded by the irresponsible town clerk until the following Tuesday, the 22nd. At that time, the town clerk was my dad. His mother never let him forget it either. She always sent my birthday card so it would arrive on the 19th, and always enclosed a dollar! With home births, the actual date is pretty flexible! So I get to celebrate for 4 days, and watch out if it falls on a weekend! And the "work hard for a living" is too true. I started working when I was 12, worked through three pregnancies, no wonder I retired at 56!! I was pooped!!

Washed and dried the dishes tonight by hand. sigh. If DH doesn't install that dishwasher by Wednesday night, the cook is checking into a resort hotel. Room service, please!!!

Gonna see if I can find a photo of at least one of my offspring....here's one of my DH, my son in law, and older daughter, (remember this face Carol, she says she's going to the Nationals) outside a couple years ago.
