Went for a drive this morning.Just Tinker and me out to see the wide world.(wide at least in my frame of reference) Went 12 miles up the Mountain Loop Highway out of Granite Falls, as far as the Turlo Ranger Station and the beginning of the National Forest. It was a beautiful drive and I even stopped at a Real Estate office to see what property was available in the area, most of which was out of my price range. And then I realized that as much as I'd love to build another house (the only reason for thinking about some acreage) I've gotten too old and 'infirm' to clear the land, build a house and shops and start all over again. Old age sucks! But it was a delightful drive into a beautiful countryside that is there for us to enjoy vicariously whenever we want.
Corky, Mac and Missy were all on those once-a-month flea pills and we were seldom ever bothered with fleas.Tinker is on them now, but we may change to the liquid drops when these run out since thats what the Vet is suggesting now.Our weather has cooled off to a perfect mid to high 70 for a few days. Hope all are well.
