I suppose this is now one of my new favourites. Quite a surprise too. I have fussed and coddled Buddleia seedlings I started last year. Kept them in all winter and in the end only one survived and has since been planted out. This year I started a few more, winter sowed. Got about seven seedlings of various sizes, still in pots.

But I found two little seedlings in a tray under lights in the spring, and planted them separately in pots and then stuck them in a flowerbed when I planted a bunch of other seedlings. No clue what they were, but they didn't look like weeds.

I have had a delightlful laugh at myself over my NOID seedlings. After all that un attention here is one blooming. No idea if I can overwinter them, but worth a try.
