Lightning started around 10 pm and it was still thundering in the distance at 5:30 when I got up. Close to 3 inches of rain again. Hallelujah! Farmers are thrilled, we were just getting to the really needing it point with no rain for over 2 weeks. All that booming and blowing brought in a cool front - it's only 59 degrees out. Isn't that bizarre? Saturday it's 103 and 3 days later its only 59!! Guess I better get some outside weeding done.

Samantha had a good time at the Little Miss Pageant - wasn't sure why she didn't get a trophy. lol Then she entered the Miniature Tractor Pull and won a 2nd place trophy. She was thrilled! We had a good laugh over that! All first and second place finishers are invited to the state mini pull in Oct. DD thought that might be a lot of fun and a good excuse to take a day off work! We'll see..... oh, here's Samantha in her 50's outfit...
