It is listed as a subshrub in the USDA Plant Database, but I am including it here. Texas vervain is a tall, spindly plant that usually 1.5 to 2 feet tall, but can grow to 3 feet tall. It has small, about 1/4" wide, light purple flowers that start forming along the stem gradually move up the lengthening stem as the plant grows.
