I'm so enjoying my blooms this year.....this is flower #3 with at least 3 more to come. Just spectacular 12" blooms. What a treat they are and I was clueless (still am!) about them. Dropped them in the pond in a pot with no holes and watched and waited. I don't fertiize any of my pond plants because of the constant source of nutrients from the large population of Koi that live in the pond.

Here are a couple of images from a bloom that opened yesterday (they only stay open for a few hours each day, until the third day when they stay open 'til evening, then close and begin to lose petals on the morning of day 4).
