Had three of our members to the house yesterday, not letting some hurricane interrupt our gardening social activities. We had a wonderful visit, the strong breezes helped to keep some of the sweat off our brows, well until we started doing some serious plant sharing. :^))))

We had a nice long visit, then I remember I was expected next door for a dinner party. I dashed to the shower, did the hair dryer thing and decided my hair doesn't act like it used to so why bother fussing over it. It looks the same as doing nothing at all. My neighbor is originally from Germany, many many years ago, although she still carries a good accent. She had some german friends in and a neighbor or two from down the street. It was great fun. Had lots of german food. I have never liked sauerkraut, but she did a great job and it tasted good. This old dog can still learn new tricks.

Well, I put the final coat of blue on the signs this morning, it took 3 coats to complete. I started it on Friday, did two coats that day. Ya know those shorty zip lock baggies many people use to send plants out in? There's one in the picture. That was a great baggie for storing the wet roller in for two days. Still wet, not gummy at all. That way I only had to wash the roller cover once.

Signs done, got my gym back, so have no excuse not to get out there and work my behind back into the right shape. It's starting to look like this ergonomic chair I'm sitting in.
