Darius. It looks toothsome yummy and delicious. The concept should work fine with fruit too shouldn't it? Interesting countertop assortment; ginger root, lemon and avocado. Julie. Keeping good thoughts and crossed fingers for your eye doc appointment. Here's another word to confuse "scarf joint". The 2X2 lattice wood is only 8 ft. long and the distance between posts is 10 ft. Now I have to "scarf" an 8 ft and 2 ft piece together to make it long enough. Its just a long slanting cut to make a stronger joint, used a lot in boat-building.
