Kell wrote: Oh too bad Redrose. That must have been from the 50 boxes I sent out 2 years ago, huh? I remember that, what an ordeal. LOL. I cannot promise anymore plants. I have too many outstanding promises now that I am so far behind in sending. But I have sent out so many pieces of Big Yella, I bet someone else will send you a piece, Red Rose. Donna, the secret is to plant the seedlings way too close together, the strongest grow up so tall and put out a canopy. The others grow tall and thin looking for light. I have a few that actually have crawled along the bottom on the ground till they get to the edge and light. It looks so weird to have brugs lying flat on the ground for 10 ft then they start standing up. LOL Here is a vine I had planted at the very back on the fence 2 years ago. I hadn't seen it since. When I got back there last night, it had grown up, up and so far away! It was all over everything in the back and had made it across to the bouganvillea. It also had grown into my neighbor's yard. They never said anything! Tom was shocked the fence had held up, it was so overwhleming. CLIP CLIP CLIP. It is now a 4 ft stump. Such pretty flowers too. Did I tell you all that Tom just hates vines almost as much as he hates brugs. LOL |
