We were close to the Tornando watch. They were calling for Suffield residents to take cover and i am close enough to Suffield to here and sometimes feel the vibrations of the bombing they do out there for practise. We saw lots of lightening and activity around us but we only got a little wee bit of rain, thank goodness! Yesterday was in the mid 30's but felt like +40 with the humidity. It was a really hot & sticky day. Yesterday, I had another little disaster in my yard, this time courtsey of the neighbors bull. His bulls all got out and 4 were in my yard. One horned and horned one of my trees until it was completely limbed as high as the bull could reach. Another one tried to jump the fence and took out the top wire. Here I am first thin in the morning yelling and flapping my arms at a bull that was just ignoring me. It took the truck and two Rotties to get them out of the yard. My dogs are way to docile. If they would at least bark some and try to live up to their rep as being scary dogs it would have made the job a lot easier! To top it off, later in the day my little terri-poo slipped in a cow patty and needed a major bath! Looks pretty happy doesn't he?!
