I used the shovel to cut chunks of sod and my Mom shoveled into the wheelbarrow and emptied it. I can't do any lifting of the dirt because of back problems. Hopefully hubby can do a lot of digging this weekend. Here's a pic of the outline after getting the first row of sod off.
