meezersfive wrote: What a little doll! And that HAIR! We have to BUY that hair color!!! I'm sure the surgery will be fine, they do it so much better now, and there should not be a lot of pain. Surely better than getting sick so often. She is just adorable! Everyone is so busy. Robert, that walkway is simply gorgeous!! What's in the hanging baskets, with the beautiful blooms? It's so lush and welcoming through that area, is there a place to sit and admire? Got a good laugh out of Marcia's comment about the pre-bedtime nap....sounds familiar! I fell for some more bedding plants too, and they are patiently waiting for me to stick them in somewhere. Hope Blooms and Darius have safe travel and come back soon to see what kind of mischief we've been up to. Vacation? What's that? DH plays in the yard or works on his collector cars for vacation. I usually go alone, with my DIL or go visit my sister...he hates to travel, and doesn't get all bent out of shape if I take off by myself. Gives him a break from my "honey do " list!! I put some fresh baking powder biscuits on the counter, and there's honey, orhomemade jam and butter, if you are so inclined. It's too early for dessert, but I think they'll do. I spent most of yesterday moving my hanging rack in the kitchen....just a nuisance job, generating lots of plaster dust and colorful language. Working around the island usually resulted in me bonking my head on the stuff hanging from the rack! So, I moved the rack about ten inches south. M kitchen is pretty small. Now, I have the bread machine and the grill on the shelves of the island, which frees up some counter space. Upon which I shall pile more seed packets, gloves, tools, mail etc., no doubt...LOL. Only two weeks to better vision Julie, and you've been able to do so much in spite of having had the first eye taken care of! You've really been a trooper! I make the bed every morning too...I just can't leave it all undone without feeling guilty. And even if I don't do another useful thing all day long, at least I MADE THE BED!! I have more days like that in winter when I get distracted by reading....this time of year, I seem to forget the inside of the house and spend all my time outside. Told DH the other day, if staring at the gardens would get them in shape, they'd all be done already...I find myself standing still and just looking. Really I'm planning and scheduling and weeding, it just looks like I'm standing still!!! Super shopping Sarv! You really saved a bunch of money. I'm all for two-fers and stocking up when the price is right. I zipped through Sam's yesterday and managed to escape with only 6 items and three of them were books!! I didn't dare wander through the store because there's too many things I'm sure I can't live without. Here's the relocated pot rack (no pots just stuff I always need). Eat up those biscuits!! I'm going out to play in the mud. Wore my new kicks out there the other day too. So much for good intentions. |
