No need to buy any more annuals or anything for that matter. I have everything out and hanging, and thankfully, growing well. All my veggies are up, and the flower seeds like Moon Vine, Butterfly Vine, Sweetpeas, Peony Poppies are all getting pretty big now. Had DH make some cedar trelllis' for me, so they can start climbing. My bulbs are all up including Stargazers and other Orientals, Pineapple and Calla Lily are up and finally the Abyssinian Glads are poking through. My Red Humbert Canna are getting tall now. The foliage is such a gorgeous color as they grow, even before they flower. Love 'em! My Delphinium is getting ready to start it's first bloom. Already about 3 feet high and grew in quite bushy this year. Looks good. Liatris is a foot high as well, but probably won't bloom for a couple more weeks. My Schubertii Allium are getting ready to open. They are much smaller, I noticed than the Purple Sensation that started blooming a couple weeks ago. And my Roses have a gazillion buds. Woo Hoo. Can't wait! My Rose of Sharon that Linda gave me some months ago, is starting to take off as well. I was worried after I transplanted it outside as a seedling a few weeks ago, and she promptly lost all her leaves and looked quite sad. But now it has new growth and so, it appears that it has finally settled in. Whew.... and Ingrid, the Mimosa Silk Trees are doing wonderfully. They are pretty small yet, but seem to be happy.

We are spending a quiet long weekend. Thought we'd get started building an Ark. We have had a lot of rain this past week and expect to have a little reprieve today with the sun shinning, but another system is moving in to give us more rain for the next 3-4 days. Oh well, at least we aren't worried about forest fires!!!
