Dick, we do get some wind here, but there is not really anything to rub against. We also have lots of snails, but I would think they would eat the leaves before the ate the branches. Thanks for your help.

Nery, I have to go back and check the dates on my pictures, but I'm pretty sure that I planted CG in December, 2002, and Pink Beauty in early 2003, so that would make them about two years old.

This picture was taken in June, 2004, and I think I trimmed it some time after that -- maybe in late summer of 2004.
