Since my favorite Pond Store wasn't open on that day, when the afternoon sun hit the water, I figured I better get something to cover at least 50% of the water surface to discourage algae. Let's see, plastic take out containers, egg cartons opened out and large tupperware bowls. LOL, it looked like a giant dish pan.
