Ginny, thank you for ferrying the hibiscus. We had talked at one point about me bringing an iris back for you, for someone in Ottawa - but I didn't see it at Linda's. Hope I didn't miss it - ?

Wilma, thanks for the hibiscus - if you have any more info on what species it is, I would be all ears - I'd like to make sure I'm taking care of it correctly. And if there's anything you'd like in return, let me know.

Ingrid - it was my pleasure. I enjoyed walking through the airports with plants - got several knowing looks (or, were they sympathetic looks? lol) And if I hadn't decided to stay in Saskatoon for a week, I probably could have made the trip home in 2 or 3 planes, not 5. :-) The plants got a good dose of fresh air on my dad's deck in Saskatoon; I only had to bring them in a couple of nights due to low temps.
