We certainly had our fair share of weird weather while we were gone. Travelling out, we hit snow and fog on both the Coquihalla and around Lake Louise. Hail, snow, rain, and wind in Saskatoon, about 2 days after a beautiful day of 27 degrees. And a horrendous windstorm in Regina. Then a bit more snow outside of Calgary. MIL's 90 th birthday went great and all had a good time. I DID get to Dutch Growers in Saskatoon, but really had to restrain myself!! Beautiful plants and outside decorations. But when you are driving a PT Cruiser, and your husband buys a welder, not much room to bring extra stuff home!!!!! DD managed to keep my plants alive, but I need to do a little TLC with them today. Linda, both Whiskers and Valley Sunshine have grown and look good, so have great expectations for them. Sandy, sorry the elephant ear has not grown. Of the three bulbs, only one has grown, and it is quite slow. One small leaf has appeared, but it looks somewhat stunted. But a second leaf is now starting to unfurl that looks much better. IF the bulb does not grow, we will have to arrange another trade of something else. Sounds like everyone had a wonderful time at the RU!!! Happy Spring everyone!
