Kooger, I'm not as often 'spacebar happy' as just spaced out,so to speak.But anyway,my wish is to share some desert with 'yall (that's south-speak for 'this delightfully diverse and happy assemblage').This afternoon whilst my mate and true love is a work I foraged into the refrigerators deepest,darkest recesses,where neither eyes nor fingers have ventured for oh so long.What should appear but 1 1/2 lbs of cream cheese,fresh creamery butter,a cup of sour cream,4 large eggs,and from the bakecenter 6oz of Germans chocolate and graham crackers.Then there peeked out of the liquor cabinet a fresh bottle of that wonderful Vandermint chocolate mint liqueur from Holland.The Quisinart and Kitchenaid had been idle for so long I wasn't sure they would remember how to operate,but they did good! All good things went together and the oven perked right up at 350°,that nice German springform pan with the lip around the bottom was just barely large enough to hold everything,and in about 7 minutes,as the crow flies,the oven will turn off and open its door a crack and all the good little cheesecakes will slowly cool to room temp and be ready to sample late tonight.Hope I can count on some help,it's a little more than I can handle by myself,and my sweetheart is the one with the ability to just try a little.As for me,I can resist everything but temptation.
