Herbs: can this rosemary be saved?, 1 by eviestevie

i received a potted tuscan sun rosemary bush over christmas. due to my ignorance, it stayed indoors most of the winter with no direct sun. it is almost completely brown (there are some greenish brown areas) and no new growth. there is no fragrance and the leaves fall off when touched. i can however smell the fragrance when i rub the leaves in my fingers. i cut a piece of the branch off today to see if there was any green inside and there appeared to be a light yellow green underneath the bark. does this mean it's still alive? if so, what can i do to bring this back to life?
